Black Locust Spatula - 14"

This spatula was sculpted from a log I set aside while gathering firewood from our woods near Waynetown, Indiana. The shape and size of this spoon make it good for flipping pancakes and for general cooking and serving.

The item has been soaked in food-safe mineral oil and buffed with wax from our bees. The glossy finish will eventually fade with use and be replaced with muted color variations. You may use mineral oil or other food-safe treatments periodically if you desire, but no treatment is necessary for the spoon to remain useful for many years.
