Black walnut coffee scoop - 5” - app. 1 tablespoon

This scoop was sculpted from locally harvested lumber. It is designed to be small enough that it can be stored in a coffee container. 

The utensil has been soaked in food-safe mineral oil and buffed with wax from our bees. The glossy finish will eventually fade with use and be replaced with muted color variations and a fine, velvety patina. You may treat it periodically with mineral oil or another food-safe oil to sharpen colors if you desire.
