Black walnut wide scoop - 12”

This utensil was sculpted from a tree that some friends down the road had to remove from their pasture. 

The utensil has been soaked in food-safe mineral oil and buffed with wax from our bees. The glossy finish will eventually fade with use and be replaced with muted color variations and a fine, velvety patina. You may treat it periodically with mineral oil or another food-safe oil to sharpen the colors if you desire.
