Black locust burl sprig vase

This vase was made from a piece of wood I came across while gathering firewood on our property near Waynetown, Indiana. Burls form as a result of the tree’s response to some sort of stress. The vase has been finished with teak oil.

This vase is 3.75” and is designed for dry sprigs.
