This item was sculpted from sugar maple wood purchased from a father-son sawmill operation in Crawfordsville. It has been soaked in fractionated organic coconut oil
The cooking-serving spatula is slightly bent and is useful for sautéing, stirring, flipping, and serving. The fine leading edge is designed to slide smoothly under the food to be flipped and is sharp enough to cut onions, peppers, and other vegetables.
All wood items should be hand-washed. If you’d like to restore the utensil’s original tones, you may occasionally treat it with mineral oil, fractionated coconut oil, or any other food-safe wood finish.
