Walnut Earrings

These “spoon-scrap earrings” were made from pieces of wood that were left over from the production of spoons. This particular wood came from the pasture of some friends a few miles down the road. 

All of the colors and textures in these earrings are natural, just enhanced with Danish oil. The hardware is stainless steel. 

The color variations in this pair are from the line where the heartwood in the core of the tree trunk meets the sapwood around the edge of the trunk.
