Sugar maple farm whisk

This item was sculpted from a local tree that had to be removed because of the risk it posed to a home. This farmhouse whisk design is great for mixing batter as well as stirring soups and other dishes. The hole in the blade allows some of the material to pass through while the contoured edge scrapes the side of the bowl or pan.  

The utensil has been soaked in mineral oil and buffed with wax from our bees.
